This service allows you to evaluate the dynamic characteristics of the car. It can be useful to ordinary motorists who are interested in the performance of their car, and tuners wishing to evaluate the effect of changes to the design of a vehicle. The service is based on a script. This script implements a simplified simulation model for calculating the dynamics of acceleration of a car. The mathematical model takes into account:
-moment of friction resistance of rolling wheels of a car;
-aerodynamic resistance;
-wheel grip;
-change in weight on drive wheels at start.
When creating the mathematical model, the following assumptions and limitations were used:
-lack of compliance of structural elements;
-lack of accounting for load redistribution during acceleration;
-acceleration time limited to 200 s.
The following functions are implemented in the mathematical model:
-interpolation of the dependence of the engine torque on the revolutions of a piecewise-defined continuous function using the approximating procedure, based on the least squares method;
-procedure for integrating a system of differential equations of motion of a car presented in normal Cauchy form, by the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method;
-the procedure for maintaining the maximum allowable traction to implement the most effective car acceleration algorithm.
